I recently found out that my name is the Gaelic (Native Language of Ireland) form of Theresa, traditionally the name of the wife of St.Paulinus of Nola from her native greek island of Thera.I also learnt that ‘Treasa’ (Pronounced Tres-Ah) is usually the name of a caring and warm hearted person.Yea…i know my name has an extra ’s’.
And to think of it.All my life i thought my father made a spelling mistake…hhehehe…ofcourse he knew Gaelic!!!
Gaelic eh??
I had a pretty tough time myself… with the pronunciation… its a proper noun but still..
Whatever be the name… however u spell/pronounce it…..
Stilll…… we have to see and suffer u….rite?
